Intro

In 1987, Arnold Schwarzenegger shocked the wrestling world by taking an active role behind the scenes in the newly rebranded World Championship Wrestling. Fourteen years later, WCW is an international company in long-standing alliances and wars, with a product and an image molded by its owner. Follow the company as it continues its history and shows the world what it truly means to be the best.

(Outside of universe, this is a diary for my long-running TEW save started in Genadi's The Superfly Effect database, that I have played up to 2001 over the span of four years. There's a lot of history that has been changed, so every so often I'll try and play catchup - but otherwise, let me take you for a ride!)

The Story So Far - The History of the Heenan Family

One of the most influential managers of all time, the Heenan Family's legend doesn't need all that much explanation. It's Bobby Heenan leading a stable full of his clients to victory - what more do you need to hear?

Old members? Significant story beats? Major events that I should definitely remember more of than I do? Okay. Well. You've got me on that one. Apologies, but I don't have a record of every member of the Heenan Family, so I'm going to try my best to give as much detail as I can remember. Join me for the history of the Heenan Family as best as I can remember it below the break.

World Championship Wrestling Roster, circa July 2001

I thought it might be nice to have a reference to be able to look at, so here in writing is the full World Championship Wrestling roster as it stands currently! The list will include workers, tag teams, and stables who are active, as well as personalities, referees, announcers, managers, and backstage personnel. The list will not include workers, teams, or stables who have not debuted yet, or who are on temporary loan from other companies, due to how little time these workers will spend with the promotion (except if they hold a championship).

For each worker who has a new gimmick I'll provide the name they're working under, then the name they're most well known as in brackets. I like having huge rosters, so it will be a giant wall of text, and probably more than a little hard to read, but I hope this will serve as a good reference document that, if I remember to, I'll update (probably) at the start of each in-game year. Catch it below the break!

World Championship Wrestling Roster, circa July 2003

Over a year on from the last update, it's about time for a roster update! Same rules as last time: split by brand, no purely off-screen...
